Refund & Cancellation Policy

Trefnus Resource is digital content. Once you begin downloading, installing, activating, accessing or using the Application, you expressly consent to immediate supply and acknowledge that you lose the statutory right of withdrawal in respect of any element so supplied. The terms below set out the limited refunds we voluntarily offer, alongside the residual statutory rights you may retain.

1. Digital Product Acknowledgement

Trefnus Resource is supplied as digital content delivered electronically and is not supplied on a tangible medium. The Application begins to be performed as soon as you activate it via the magic-link authentication process. By activating, downloading or installing the Application, you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that, once performance has begun, you may lose your statutory right to cancel digital content under: (a) the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013; (b) Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on consumer rights; and (c) any equivalent law applicable to you.

2. Cooling-Off Period (UK / EU Consumers)

Where applicable consumer law grants you a 14-day right to cancel for any reason, this right applies only until the moment performance of the digital content begins. Performance begins at the earliest of: (a) you clicking a magic-link sign-in URL; (b) the Application’s licence verification successfully completing on any Device; or (c) you otherwise accessing any feature of the Application. After that point, the statutory right of withdrawal is lost.

If you wish to exercise your cooling-off right before performance has begun, email refunds@trefnus.com within 14 days of purchase stating your order reference and email address, and we will issue a full refund within 14 days of receipt of the cancellation notice.

3. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee (Goodwill)

In addition to (and not in place of) your statutory rights, and as a goodwill measure, we offer a discretionary money-back guarantee within thirty (30) calendar days of your original purchase, subject to the eligibility and exclusion conditions below. The 30-day window runs from the date of purchase, not from first use. Refund requests received after 30 days will be refused as time-barred.

8. How to Request a Refund

Send an email to refunds@trefnus.com from the email address on the licence, including:

  1. your order reference and purchase date;
  2. the email address associated with the licence;
  3. a brief description of why you are requesting a refund;
  4. confirmation that you will cease using the Application and remove it from all Devices if the refund is approved.

9. Refund Processing

We will acknowledge eligible refund requests within five (5) business days. Approved refunds are processed within fourteen (14) calendar days of approval, using the original payment method. The time it takes for funds to appear in your account depends on your payment provider and is outside our control. Currency-conversion losses, payment-processor fees and bank charges are not refundable. We may, at our option, issue refunds as account credit rather than as cash where the original payment method is no longer available.

10. Price Changes

We may change the price of the Application or any subscription at any time. New pricing applies to new purchases and to renewals occurring after the effective date of the change. Price changes will not retroactively increase any fee already charged to you for a current billing period.

11. Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer based in the United Kingdom, European Union or European Economic Area, nothing in this Policy limits or excludes any statutory right you may have, including (where applicable) the right to digital content of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 or equivalent EU/EEA legislation. Where the law gives you a remedy we have not voluntarily offered, that statutory remedy continues to apply and prevails to the extent of any conflict with this Policy.

12. Disputes

Any dispute arising from this Policy is subject to the dispute resolution, governing law, binding arbitration and class action waiver provisions of the Terms of Service. You agree to contact us at refunds@trefnus.com and attempt informal resolution for at least 60 days before initiating any formal proceeding or payment-card chargeback.
